Sheena's sister husband died in a car crash last night in PMB after he went to his dad's funeral. Thank God Sheena is with her. Pls say a prayer for her.

Yes it is Sheena's sister who has just had her baby boy Keagan 12 days ago.

Her husband came to SA (from UK) to attend his father's funeral - his dad passed away after suffering from cancer on Monday - he felt overwhelmed by all the people at his mom's house so decided to take a drive to their family church and on his way a sugercane truck pulled out into the road, as it was dark he did not see the truck. They had to use the jaws of life to get him out and were unsuccessful at getting him back.

Cathy (my cousin) is in the process of getting Keagan an emergency passport so she can come out. Bristish Embassay have been amazing and are only waiting for the death certificate which will be supplied on Wed / Thurs after an autopsy is performed. Hopefully Sheena, Cathy & Keagan will be back in SA late this week.

Girls my heart bleeds for my cousin and her 12 day old son as we;ll as her DH family (brothers and mom) who have only just barried their father & husband and now have to plan another funeral.

I am so so sorry. Since i heard the news yesterday,i haven't been able to get it out of my mind. I feel so heartsore for sheena's sister. She must b devastated.i cant even imagine what she's going thru and what lay ahead for her. Sheena,i pray for u,your sister, baby keagan, eileen and all the family.i pray that God comfort and soothe your hurting hearts. Wish i cud take some of that pain so it wud b less.im so sorry xx

Oh my friend, I have also not got this out of my head since I got the sms yesterday. They are constantly in my thoughts!

Just a little update. They managed yest to get an emergency passport for Keagan. They are in te process of booking flights and will be back in SA on Wed morning.

Cathy is not coping and is in total denial, she is upset we are making her come here when her DH is flying home on Tues.. poor girl.
Spoke to Sheena on skype earlier and I think it is only hitting her now, she was so upset. Cathy is the strong one and Sheena and I the softies so we both finding it very hard to see Cathy like this.

Funeral on Friday in PMB, we all going down and some of her husband's family friends are paying for the funeral in full.

SInce hearing the news yesterday I have not stopped thinking about you and Sheena and the family. This is jusy so so sad, and the fact the she is in denial gives me goosebumps.

I cannot believe what I'm reading. This is so incredibly unfair. I pray that they find the strength to cope through this difficult time.

Thank you so much my amazing, beautiful friends. Your wishes via cell phone, facebook and OPM mean so much to me. I cannot tell you how hard this is and how hard it is going to be. BUT knowing that I have you just makes it that little easier. I am sorry I have not been on here a lot but I have so much to try and organise here. I am running on robot mode and Keagan is the only thing pushing me through.

Girls...... all in the ttc lounge etc... take each day as if it were your last. Do what you need to do and enjoy it. Don't waste time on tears and heartache. Spend the time you have with your DH's and the people that are here. Clearly God has a plan and if he means for us to have LO's we will have them but in the mean time focus on what you have before it is too late. I wish I could take Cathy's pain away. My heart is broken and in a million pieces so I don't know what hers is feeling like right now.
