I bet you are anxiously awaiting the arrival of your baby boy. You will be very blessed!

You gals will not BELIEVE how much stuff we got for the baby during the week. My hubby took TWO afternoons off and we literraly raided the baby stores.

I know there's a lot of people out there saying that you should be careful and not buy too much stuff because what if, what if, but you know what (and no offense to anyone!) ANYTHING can go wrong in a 'biological' pregnancy as well!! This does not stop people from throwing baby showers or buying things for the baby, why should we not do this?



Both my sister and my best friend are arranging two separate baby showers for us (BEFORE the 60 days are up!!) and we bought all the 'big' items e.g. pram, cot, camp cot, car safety seat, baby monitor and bottle warmer. We also bought bottles and heaps of clothes so it seems that the only items we don't have are toiletries, nappies and formula!!

I know and understand that people are only looking out for us, but we really need this and we need to make this real in our own way. I will get excited and dream about my baby like any other expecting mommy and we will deal with anything that comes our way the way that we always have: Together.

I agree, and the shopping is so much fun! washing, packing, re-packing and again repacking after holding that cute little clothes, ahh bliss!! I am sure this little man is going to bring you much joy!!!

I say go for it. I agree 100% with your sentiments. You have to be positive and believe that all will be just fine just as each one of us who are mommies now and all the soon to-be mommies.
