My TTC Story

Thought I would share my TTC story with you:
DH and I have been TTC'ing for 3 years.
Had 3 failed IUI's, and loads of medicated cycles before moving to IVF - Hubby is perfect. Me, well, I vary rarely ovulate and have PCOS
Had my first IVF this year and am now just over 10 weeks pregnant!!
I am at Medfem with Dr. Rod.
Thats my story in a nutshell!

Great story, congrats on your pregnancy, I hope you have a blessed,healthy 9 mths. 
Can you plse tell me whats the diff between an iui and ivf im a bit confused there :scratch:

IUI is intrauterine insemination. IVF is In Vitro Fertilization.
IUI is when they inject washed sperm directly into the uterus with a catheter, and with IVF an egg is removed from the female and the sperm from a male. The egg is then fertilized outside the woman's body. After the egg has begun to divide, it is reinserted into your womb to implant and continue to grow.
That's the basic version! Hope it helps!

Yup, Eve is right!!! The egg is basically fertilized in a test tube - hence the term 'test-tube babies'
