SIYAMTHANDA'S BIRTH STORY
Hi Ladies,
Sorry to be post my birth story so late, in the birth stories section. I had my C-section on the 14th of May 2009 at 11:30 and I was discharged on Sunday 17 May 2009. The C-section went very well, except of course when it was time for the spinal block, the Anastethist (sp) tried 3 times to get the right spot on my spine to inject and it was very sore I even cried. He was lucky the 4th time around. The op was a breeze and baby was delivered at 12:04, I was very relieved when I heard that 1st cry. I did not feel much pain as I was given enough pain medication before I could even start feeling my legs. The hospital stay was good, the staff were very co-operative and supportive.
Siyamthanda has brought a lot of Joy and Love to our family, everyone can't have enough of him. He sleep s most of the time, so when he is awake he is given maximum attention. He does not cry a lot, he is just sweet. The 1st night at home was a bit hectic as he was awake for most of the night. DH is a great help, he changes his nappy at night and takes him from his cot to our bed for his feeds. He is breastfeeding very well.
